The Clermont County high school varsity girls basketball action has been very abbreviated of late due to the holiday season.
Glen Este downed arch-rival Amelia in Troy 54-49. The Trojans were up at all stops 20-10, 37-26, and 43-29 in this non-division game of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference.
Freshman forward Katie Gaskill led the Purple and White’s offense by netting 20 points and 10 points apiece were made by the trio of senior forward Kaylin Hodge, junior guard Lakin Louiso, and junior forward Jackie Young. Morgan Sperry, Amelia senior forward, tied for game scoring honors with 20 points.
