Leonard Jesse Black, 77, of Milford, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, in Anderson Township.
Mr. Black served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a former teacher for the Milford School District.
He is survived by his wife, Martha E. Hawthorne Black; three children, Judith Hudnall, Matthew and Paul Black; five grandchildren, James Hudnall, Kelsey, Daniel, David and Eric Black; one great grandson; and one brother, Gary Black.
Funeral services were held Dec. 23 at Summerside United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to Summerside UMC.
