Sheila Dianne Blevins, 56, of Alpharetta, Ga., died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 in Johnson City, Tenn.
She was an active member of North Lanier Baptist Church. She had a degree as a medical assistant.
Mrs. Blevins was preceded in death by her father, John Bently Gregg.
She is survived by her husband, David Blevins; her mother, Gladys Hammock of Johnson City, Tenn.; children, Kellie (Andy) Durden of Cumming, Ga., Katie Blevins of Alpharetta, Ga.; one sister, Rose Gregg of Johnson City, Tenn; three brothers, John Gregg of Johnson City, Tenn., Jim Gregg of Fayetteville, N. C. and David Gregg of Blanchester, Ohio and two grandsons, Ethan and Alex Durden.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18 at North Lanier Baptist Church.
Interment at Georgia National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to North Lanier Baptist Weekday Children’s Ministry Scholarship Fund.
McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Cumming, Ga. served the family.
