Hammer recognized for work

Victoria Hammer was named the North Central Business Education Association’s (NCBEA) Outstanding Administrator of the Year and Distinguished Service Award recipient.
Hammer has been an educator for more than 30 years and currently serves as the associate dean of academic affairs at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College.
“Dr. Hammer is a dedicated educational leader. She has been a great addition to our college. I look to her for her innovative ideas and value her as a partner in the leadership of the college,” said Dean James McDonough.

Hammer has been very involved in the Ohio Business Teachers Association, serving on a vast number of committees and in leadership roles. She is currently serving as the OBTA President, having already served as the Assistant Editor of The Ohio Business Teacher, Secretary, President Elect and State Conference Chair. She also served as President and Vice-President of the Southwestern Ohio Business Teachers Association, Treasurer of Delta Pi Epsilon, and was the Assistant Program Coordinator for the National Business Education Association's National Conventions; March 1993, and 2005, and 2008.
"We are so proud and honored to have Dr. Hammer as a recipient of the NCBEA Distinguished Service Award - Administrator of Business Education," said Jody Emerson, Chair, NCBEA Awards Committee.
During her career, she has been honored with a variety of awards including the 2008 OBTA Administrator/Supervisor of the Year Distinguished Service Award.
In 1994 she was recognized as the OBTA Post-Secondary Teacher of the Year Distinguished Service Award; 1994 Blue Ash, Montgomery, Symmes Township Rotary Club Distinguished Citizen Service Award; and in 1998 inducted into the Deer Park High School Alumni Hall of Fame.
