Two West Clermont teachers have been published.
An instructional unit about bullying, written by Mike Laehr and Sue Fisher, is included in the new book, “Comprehension & Collaboration,” (Heinemann, 2009).
The units in this book were compiled by best-selling authors Stephanie Harvey and Smokey Daniels. Harvey has spent time in Laehr’s classroom over the years. She said she has long admired the incredible literacy instruction she observed there.
Laehr and Fisher teamed up to document their lesson ideas for other teachers who want to teach their students about respect and acceptance.
