The village of Batavia’s Beautification Committee is planning “Holiday in the Village,” an event for the entire family.
Holiday in the Village will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Village Administration Building, 389 East Main Street.
Committee members Michelle Gardner, Ray Seibert, and Summer Tyler are planning the evening which will feature a visit with Santa, a magic show by magician John Louis, horse drawn wagonnette rides, refreshments, door prizes, candy, and a craft for the children.
"Even if you don't have children, we hope adults will take advantage of the free carriage ride and enjoy the luminaries throughout the Village," said Michelle Gardner, chairwoman of the event.
The committee is seeking donations to help with the costs of the event. Adult volunteers are also needed to help with the many activities that night.
The event will be free and open to the public.
To volunteer or make a donation, contact the village office at (513) 732-2020.
