Great Oaks student elected as officer in state organization

Milford High School student Jeff Michael is a leader. He was elected to the 2010 Ohio DECA State Officer position of Secretary/Treasurer Tuesday, Nov. 3 at the Ohio DECA Fall Leadership Conference held at the Columbus Convention Center. He was there with 49 classmates in the Milford/Great Oaks Marketing Management and Research Program.

He and eight other Ohio student leaders will lead the state organization, made up of more than 5,000 students. DECA is an association for high school marketing students who are pursuing careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. DECA is co-curricular to the marketing program.
