Webber wins award for completing reading activities

Branden Webber, a first grade reading student at Summerside Elementary, was honored with a Borders gift card for completing at least 35 activities in reading and writing over the summer break.

Mrs. Ellen Beavers, reading teacher, presented the award to Branden for creating a reading nook at home, writing in a journal, practicing map reading, visiting the library and practicing many other activities suggested by his teachers last school year to encourage reading and writing during the summer months.
