Mayor John Thebout of the village of Batavia recently attended the town hall meeting held by Senator George Voinovich’s staff at Union Township Hall.
Mayor Thebout was able to discuss village and national issues with other attendees and with Nan Cahall, Senator Voinovich’s represenatative.
“I was glad to have the face to face opportunity to discuss important issues with the senator’s representative,” said Thebout.
Thebout, along with the other attendees, braved the cold, rainy weather to attend the event.
“I would have liked to have spoken with the Senator personally,” said Thebout, “but at least we could take our messages to him through his staff.”
