Walter E. Ward, 75, of Batavia, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009. He was born Jan. 22, 1934.
Mr. Ward was a U.S. Army veteran and a retiree from Ford Motor Company.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Michelle Barnett Ward; four children, Nicholas Ward, Opal Ward, Elizabeth and Jeffrey Ward; one stepson, Bryan Barnett; one brother, Ralph Ward and two sisters, Dora Lee Davis and Christina Faul.
Funeral services were held Nov. 4 at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory in Milford.
