Thomas wins Regional

Michelle Thomas, a Glen Este junior, will be making her third venture to Columbus for the girls Division I Ohio state cross country championship race.

She will be the only Clermont countian competing iin the state capital Saturday.

She earned her trip to Columbus by winning the Southwest Regional in Troy. Her time of 18-minutes and 35-seconds put her a full 15 seconds ahead of the runner-up harrier.

Michelle Thomas will be competing in the Division I state championship race for the third consecutive year.
