Sylvia Gertrude Johnson, 80, of Milford in Miami Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, in Milford.

Mrs. Johnson had worked as a cook in the Milford Schools.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Johnson; one son, Joseph Johnson Jr.; one daughter, Laura (Chuck) Philhower; three grandchildren, Vance (Jacqui) Philhower and Joshua and Jared Johnson; one great grandson; one sister, Jeanne Montgomery and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services were held Oct. 29 at Evans Funeral Home.

Interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford.
