Rosie Red visits Reds Heads winner

Each year, thousands of children in the Cincinnati area join the Reds Heads Kids Club.

Membership into the official fan club offers the kids a chance to win a Halloween visit from the two Reds mascots, Gapper and Rosie Red.

This year there were 5,000 entries in the contest and only two kids were selected. Nathan Cox, 6, of Batavia, was one of the winners. Cox is a first grade student at Holly Hill Elementary School in Amelia.

The first grade classes at Holly Hill Elementary School in Amelia had a visit from Rosie Red Friday, Oct. 30. She stopped by the school as part of the Halloween visit for the Reds Heads Kids Club winners. Nathan Cox, a Holly Hill first grader, was one of two winners in the Cincinnati area
Rosie Red visited Holly Hill Elementary School Friday, Oct. 30 and spent some time with Cox and his first grade classmates. She shared Halloween treats with the class and then took part in the annual Fall Harvest celebration with the rest of the students.
