Sardinia woman dies in accident

A woman has died as a result of an accident in Frisch’s parking lot in Batavia on Sunday, Oct. 18.
The Clermont County 911 center received a call reporting the accident at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Sheriff’s deputies and fire/EMS personnel from the Central Joint Fire Department were dispatched to Frisch’s Restaurant on Winemiller Lane in Batavia where they found Constance L. Skidmore, 56, of Sardinia, pinned between two vehicles.
Skidmore was transported to Clermont Mercy Hospital and was in the process of being transported to University Hospital in Cincinnati via Air Care helicopter when the Air Care doctor pronounced her dead at the Clermont Mercy Hospital air care landing zone before she was transported.
According to Clermont County Sheriff A.J. Rodenberg, the accident is currently under investigation by the sheriff's office with the assistance of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It is not known at this time if criminal charges will be filed.
