Barbara Cruey, 54
Barbara Lynn Cruey, 54, of Cincinnati, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at her residence. She was born Sept. 20, 1955, the daughter of William and Ruth Carroll Cruey.
Mrs. Cruey graduated from Clermont Northeastern High School and from nursing school in Cincinnati. She worked as an LPN at the Little Sisters of the Poor Nursing Home in Cincinnati. She also volunteered for the Recovery Center of Hamilton County.
She is survived by her parents; her children, India (Brian) Whitney of Pittsburg, Penn. and Derek (Melissa) Seng of Dayton; three grandchildren, Julia, Isabel and Cole Whitney; two brothers, William Jr. (Jeanette) Cruey and Mark (Patti) Cruey; two sisters, Laura (Dale) Harcourt and Sandra (Larry) Zimmer and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Oct. 19, at Batavia Union Cemetery.
