Coach Tina Stassi and the Glen Este Trojans 10 yr old Glen Este Cheer Squad were in the middle of all the action at the 2009 Susan G. Komen ‘Race for the Cure’ that took place on Saturday, Sept. 12. The girls cheered on the racers from the Purple People Bridge. Thousands of racers crossed the bridge giving the girls high 5′s while cheering and clapping with them along the way. Several racers commented that these girls gave them inspiration to help them finish the race. It was an incredible experience for both cheerleaders and coaches.
