PugFair will be a funfilled day benefiting Ohio Pug Rescue

PugFair 2009 will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at Stonelick State Park.
PugFair is a charity event to raise money for Ohio Pug Rescue and will include children’s games and prizes, a pug agility demonstration, a raffle and silent auction, pet costume contest, Parade of Pugs, plenty of food and musical entertainment all day.
Admission to PugFair is free; there is a $5 entry fee for the costume contest.
A play area will be set aside for the dogs as well. While this event is pug-themed, all vaccinated, friendly dogs and their families are invited to join in the fun.
Ohio Pug Rescue (OPR) is a non-profit volunteer organization that operates a foster care and placement program for pugs in Ohio, providing vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping and any other necessary medical care for adoptees. Current economic conditions have placed a strain on all rescue organizations, and OPR is near capacity, currently fostering 78 pugs looking for their forever home.
A pug agility demonstration by Caryl Baxter with her champion pugs "Kaze" and "Mimi will be held at 11 a.m. The 'Parade of Pugs' will be held at 2 p.m. with awards immediately following.
