Amelia, GE, Milford v-ball open season successfully

All three of Clermont County’s teams that are members of two of the divisions of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference have begun their respective varsity volleyball campaigns unbeaten.

Amelia

The Barons won a non-division game of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference over Ross’ Rams 15-25, 26-14, 25-20.

In a non-conference confrontation, the Blue and White whipped Western Brown 25-18, 16-25, 27-25, 25-19.

In the friendly confines of Batavia High School, the Bulldogs serve receive from White Oak in a game that the Green and White emerged victorious.
Milford

The E-Gals passed by Princeton in a non-conference encounter 25-17, 25-20, 25-9.

Batavia

The Bulldogs won out over White Oak's Wildcats in a non-league contest 25-16, 25-21, 17-25, 18-25, 15-13.

Glen Este

The Trojans pounded Princeton's Vikings in a non-league battle 25-19, 25-10, 25-16.

Norwood's Indians were the Purple and White's next victim by a 25-22, 14-25, 25-15, 25-10 count. This, too, was a non-league game.

Bethel-Tate

The Tigers won in the Southern Buckeye Conference American Division over Clermont Northeastern 25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 25-16. It was the conference opener for both units.

Mariemont's Warriors won out over the Red and Gray 25-12, 25-16, 25-13. This was in non-league action.

Goshen

The Warriors nudged New Richmond 25-18, 25-17, 23-25, 25-18 in a Southern Buckeye Conference American Divison fray.

Springboro's Panthers got the best of the Red and Gray 25-8, 25-11, 23-24, 25-12. This was a non-league tilt.

New Richmond

The Lions did away with Deer Park's Wildcats in non-league action 25-27, 25-14, 25-17.

Clermont Northeastern

The Rockets were beaten in non-conference play by Wilmington's Hurricanes 25-8, 25-20, 20-25, 25-23.
