It amounted to about a two-team tournament, but Batavia emerged as the champion of the Southern Buckeye Conference varsity girls tennis tournament.
The Bulldogs tallied 25 points and the host Blanchester Wildcats netted 24.
The other team totals were Bethel-Tate 13, Western Brown 13, East Clinton 11, Goshen 3, New Richmond 3, Clermont Northeastern 1, and Felicity 0. Williamsburg does not field a girls tennis team.
