Recent Glen Este High School graduate Matt Perry has indicated by signing a letter-of-intent that he will continue his educational and athletic careers at the College of Mount Saint Joseph, Cincinnati.

Perry was a three-year letterman on the Trojans’ gridiron during his four seasons of football competition. His talents earned him invitations to the “Stacks” magazine Showcase Camp in Cleveland and the Ultimate 100 Football Camp.

Academics was a priority for him as he attended the Saturday Academy at Glen Este to voluntarily study ahead to move him further along with his education.

The most memorable moments of his prep sports career include two football battles his senior season.

“I got to play very hard against one of Loveland’s players who was supposed to be very good. . . we were counted out against Harrison, but we won out 31-30 in overtime and had a great goal line stand.”

His parents, Kerry and Kevin, are the most important people in his life because “they helped me get through everything and got me ready for my future.”

At his college letter-of-intent signing, Matt Perry is flanked by Zak Taylor, Glen Este High head football coach, and his mom, Kerry.
