A large crowd filled the grandstands at the Clermont County Fairgrounds to pay tribute to area veterans, current military personnel and their families Thursday, July 30. The event was organized by Clermont County Commissioner Bob Proud during the fair to show support to the American military both past and present.

A wanted felon is on the run on foot in Clermont County following a road stop on state Route 52 outside the village of Neville. Assistance and a canine unit were requested after the passenger, Eric Clemons Jr., of 5638 Kirby Ave, Cincinnati, fled the scene on foot and ran toward the Ohio River.
