Raymond Goodwin, 70, of Williamsburg, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in Batavia Township. He was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Cincinnati, the son of Raymond Brickwoody and Audrey Polk.

He was retired from CG&E.

Mr. Goodwin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley F. Daugherty Goodwin; two brothers, Edwin Hauk and Leon Goodwin and one sister, Naomi Cotton.

He is survived by one daughter, Kathy Sue (Pete) Degenstein of Wyoming; two grandchildren, Marianne and Jeremy Degenstein of Wyoming; two great grandchildren and one brother, Chester Abbott of Cincinnati.

Funeral services were held Aug. 12 at Cedars of Lebanon Chapel Memorial Mausoleum, Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum in Cincinnati.

Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum.
