Ethan Daiker, Milford High School senior, has signed a letter-of-intent to continue his education and athletic career at Georgetown (Ky.) College.

The son of Quinn and Patty Daiker plans to major in secondary education with a focus on mathematics. He will compete in football for the Tigers.

Daiker was a three-year varsity letterman on the gridiron and twice earned recognition as a Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division all-star at quarterback. The three-year letterman also earned Division I all-district honors twice. Other honors he has earned include McDonald’s Restaurant’s “McScholar Athlete,” the Anthony Munoz Foundation’s “Straight A Award,” and the Milford Eagle Award (twice) for outstanding hard work, dedication, and discipline. From his team he was awarded “Wide Receiver of the Year” and “Offensive Back of the Year.”

He competed this spring in the annual Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association’s East-West All-Star football game.

The multi-talented athlete has also lettered in baseball and volleyball.
