The Williamsburg School District is in line to receive federal Title and IDEA money and officials have found some ways to use the restricted funds to positively impact students.

Beginning this month, students in grades three to five at Williamsburg Elementary School will be involved with a new Center for Strategic Intervention program. Teresa Mayham, a fifth grade teacher, is leading this initiative and will provide targeted assistance to individuals and small groups of students as needs are identified through work in the core subject areas in the regular classrooms.
