School construction is right on schedule

Two West Clermont School District elementary school buildings are being built according to schedule and Ed Dyer, director of operations, is pleased with the progress. His latest update for Amelia Elementary was dated June 26. He noted that the general contractor finished the slab pour on the Amelia Elementary job.

Founders’ Day celebrated in Bethel

The Burke Park Log Cabin Committee held the third annual Founders’ Day Celebration June 27-28. Committee chairman Ron Shouse said that this year’s event, held in Bethel’s Burke Park, proved to be one of the organization’s best fund-raising efforts yet.

It’s been a good weekend, and a sad weekend

It’s been a sad weekend and a good weekend. The sad part is a very lovely lady from Bethel, has gone to heaven to be with her family, her dad, mother, and grandparents, who had made that trip years ago.

Police arrest Union Township hotel robber

On Sunday, June 2 the Union Township Police, with the assistance of Cincinnati Police Department District 2 and the Hamilton County Sherriff’s Department, arrested Joshua Randall, 24, of Walton Ky., after an early Saturday morning aggravated robbery of the Best Western Hotel in Union Township.
