A. G. McFarland, 70, died Saturday, July 25, 2009.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Foy and Betty Fox.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Carter McFarland; one son, Michael (Tammy) McFarland; two daugthers, Kathy (Mike) Smith and Sharon (Dorian) Grubaugh; five stepchildren, Shelby (Michael) Underwood, Dean (Sherrie) Musselwhite, Karen (John) White, Douglas (Tara) Musselwhite and Brenda (Steve) Newland; four brothers, L. B., Shannon, James and Danny McFarland; two sisters, Janet Phillips and Eudinia Fox; 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, in Amelia.
