The library at Bick Primary School in Bethel was filled with educators from around Clermont County to hear Ohio Governor Ted Strickland explain his planned educational reforms Wednesday, July 22.

“Ohio is a great state and a very diverse state,” said Strickland. “If you could shrink America, you would end up with Ohio. Ohio offers everything from agriculture and business to manufacturing and education. Many inventors, explorers and leaders are from Ohio. Ohio has always been on the cutting edge of history.”

Strickland told the audience that one of his major responsibilities as governor is to come up with a mechanism to fix the way funding is done for education in Ohio.
