Edna J. Massengale Carter, 89, of Union Township, died Thursday, July 9, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Carter.
She is survived by one son, Jim Carter; one daughter, Diana Powers; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 13, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, in Amelia.
Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
