A crowd of more than 100 people met in Milford at the Firefighters Community Hall for a day of celebration on Thursday, May 21. The Fourth Anniversary of the Thursday Morning Senior Gathering held many surprises for those in attendance.
Bill Knepp hosted the event which included a video presentation, special awards ceremony, entertainment by ventriloquist Gary Lare and a visit from a chicken.
The group of senior citizens has been meeting faithfully every Thursday morning for the past four years in the bingo hall in Milford. Average attendance is between 65 – 75 people each week. They have been meeting a total of nine years and moved to this location four years ago.
