From the State House to the county court house, from a public park to people in the pew, Americans will be praying on Thursday, May 7, from coast to coast.
The theme for this year’s National Day of Prayer is “Prayer… America’s Hope” and it is based on Psalm 33:22 “May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”
Americans will ask for God’s protection over the country, the military, their ‘hometown heroes,’ America’s future, its children, education, businesses, the media, government leaders and families.
"We are so thankful to Dee Deaton and her dedicated crew for the beautiful buffet they prepare each year," said Libbie Bennett, Clermont County coordinator for the National Day of Prayer.
