Batavia Township spring clean up days to be held May 1&2
Dumpsters will be available at the Batavia Township Service Department, located 2401 Old State Route 32 and Batavia Township Community Center, located 1535 Clough Pike to receive items to be disposed of 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, May 1 and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, May 2.
The following items will not be accepted; shingles or construction debris, paints, oil tanks, yard waste, tree limbs or shrubs, hazardous material or fluorescent light bulbs.
Appliances containing Freon will be accepted if proper certificate of removal is provided otherwise there will be charge of $10 per item. Three car tires per resident free of charge. Additional tires will be accepted at the following rates:
$1.50 per car tire (16 inches and below) / $2.50 if on rim
$3.50 per truck tire (above 16 inches) / $4.50 if on rim
$25 per tractor tire (off rim only)
Proof of Batavia Township residency is required.
