Pierce Township Police ask for help in identifying child enticement suspect
The Pierce Township Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in several recent child enticement reports. The suspect is described as a white male, 40-50 years of age, bald, wearing thick, black rimmed glasses. Pierce Township Detective Michael Buckler says his office has received numerous tips concerning the case.

Local children may be being targeted by a man in a van
The Pierce Township Police Department is asking for community assistance and is stepping up patrols after three recent incidents of suspicious activity towards young children between the hours of 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The first incident occurred on Feb. 20 in the 1100 block of Hunter’s Run. In this instance, an older light grey van followed a 12-year-old girl as she walked down the street with her dog. The second incident occurred Feb. 23 as a child exited a school bus. The third incident occurred on Feb. 28, in the Hopper Hill Farm area.
