When the Union Township Trustees met on Tuesday, Feb. 10, they announced some changes with regard to their public meetings and improving their Web site to better accommodate the public.

With the pressing issues of finding much needed safety services funds and the need to hire a township administrator, trustee Timothy Donnellon requested that the board begin meeting twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesday. He also suggested that whoever is hired as administrator should have full reports to share with the board during the meetings to help keep the residents informed of issues facing the township. He also requested the police and fire chiefs to have reports ready for the meetings.
