Amelia begins tourney action with Fairfield’s Indians on Feb. 23, 6 p.m., at the Cintas Center, Xavier University.
“Fairfield plays in a strong league and they’ve beaten some good teams. They’re a potent team, they have a couple of good players,” Craig Mazzaro, Amelia head coach said. “Both teams records are somewhat deceiving. We’ve played some good teams, too. I expect us to be competitive in this game.”
