Charles W. Jacobs, 87, of Owensville and formerly Milford, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, in Batavia Township.
Mr. Jacobs was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II, he worked in production control at General Electric and was a member of the VFW post 6770, in New Richmond.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Joseph Jacobs.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma; one daughter, Jeannette (Chris) Duncan; one granddaughter, Christina (Scott) Oaks; one great grandson, Tyler Oaks and one sister, Helen Conover.
Funeral services were held Feb. 6, at St. Louis Church, in Owensville.
Interment at St. Louis Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Church Building Fund.
