Allen Wayne Dowdell, 58, of Batavia, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, in Batavia Township.
He was a production assistant for DuPont.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; son, Joshua; daughter, Sarah; step-son, David; step-daughter, Crystal; five grandchildren; his father, Billie Joe Dowdell; his mother, Dee Dowdell and one sister, Barbara Curtis.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Evans Funeral Home.
Baxter Crematory, in St. Bernard and Evans Funeral Home served the family.
