A guilty plea was entered in Clermont County Common Pleas court on Thursday, Jan. 22, by Chris Crosby, 26, of New Richmond. Crosby’s trial date had been set for Jan. 26.

Crosby pleaded guilty to stealing a horse, having weapons under disability, resisting arrest, breaking and entering and two counts of receiving stolen property. He had been in court on May 12, 2008, and entered a guilty plea for receiving stolen property. His sentencing had been scheduled for July 1, 2008, but he skipped bond and on June 12, 2008 a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
