Donald Milton Chandler, 83, of Milford, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, in Milford.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a sonarman second class during World War II and in Korea, he was an engineer with Cincinnati Bell and was a member of the Milford American Legion Post 450.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Sullivan Chandler and one son, Thomas Chandler.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine McDonald Chandler; three sons, Donald (Kim) Chandler, Mark (Connie) Chandler, Patrick (Kerry) Chandler; four daughters, Linda (Denny) Thompson, Mary Jo (Doug) Hoskins, Elizabeth Hoskins and Theresa (Steve) Willenbrink; stepchildren, Lori (Tim) Tytko, James (Kelly) and John (Debra) Kellington; 20 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one sister, Amy Chandler.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 12, at St. Elizabeth Seton Church.

Interment at St. Andrew Cemetery, in Milford.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
