Pierce Township police are searching for a man who is suspected of shoplifting at the Walmart store, located 1815 Ohio Pike, in Clermont County.
According to police reports, a man and woman entered the store 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 and were involved in a shoplifting scheme when they were confronted by and detained by store security personnel.
The suspect, identified as James Sullender, 49, of the Georgetown area, pulled a handgun and fled the store. The woman, only identified as 29 years of age and from the West Union area, was later stopped by police of the following agencies, Clermont County Sheriff’s office, Bethel police and Pierce Township Police Department.
