Hill students present program for grandparents

Grandparents in the Bethel Tate School District were treated to a special show featuring Hill Intermediate third, fourth and fifth grade students Friday, Dec. 12.

The students, under the direction of Connie Crissman and Marcie Patrick, presented “The Sounds of Children.”

Principal Kay Nau welcomed grandparents and invited guests to the gymnasium at Hill Intermediate School and asked them to enjoy refreshments after the program.

The third grade chorus sang "Santa is My Buddy," "St. Nick At Night," and "Do You Hear What I Hear?"

The Snowball Dancers, featuring Bailey Church, Annaliese Cooper, Makayla Ragland, Maria Torok and Joanna Winters danced to the song, "A Marshmallow World."

Instrumental solos were performed by Isaiah Price, on violin; Joshua Hensley, on clarinet and Jordyn Miley, on flute.

The fourth grade students performed the musical, "The Littlest Christmas Tree," with Grace Hauserman performing an a cappella solo entitled "Christmas Is." They also presented "The Littlest Reindeer."

"The program was great," said Superintendent Jim Smith. "The kids really put a lot of effort into the performance and it was wonderful to have so many grandparents in attendance."
