Bethel-Tate’s varsity boys soccer team won the school’s first varsity championship in that sport. The title earned this season ended a long streak of conference crowns won by New Richmond.

The fighting Tigers concluded their banner year with an overall record of 12-2-3 and 8-0-2 in the Southern Buckeye Conference American (big school) Division (SBC-A).

“This was a great group of kids. They have a passion for the game and made all the extra steps they needed,” said Dave Schellenberger, head coach of the SBC-A champions.
