For the second time in three years, Milford’s varsity boys water polo team earned the state championship.

The Eagles put together a very impressive record of 17 wins, six losses, and one tie. The last 26 games of the season wee consecutive victories.

“This was an extraordinary season. The record and wins in-a-row says volumes for them,” coach Gary Tameris said.

“We had five seniors on the team and four of them were starters and they gave us tremendous leadership for this very impressive season.”
