Michael Nelson Whitmer, 68, of Williamsburg, died Oct. 13, 2008. He was retired from Cincinnati Milacron and a National Guard member.
He was preceded in death by wife, Kaye W. (nee Russell) Whitmer; parents, Nelson C. and Dorothy (nee Houchard) Whitmer; and step-mother, Helen Ruth Whitmer.
He is survived by son, Todd M. (Carol) Whitmer, brothers, Bill, David, and Jim Hayslip; sisters, Marilyn Hudson, Sara Katlitt, and Joyce Greene; nephew, Dan Hudson; and dearest friend, Tena Burke.
Funeral services were held Oct. 17 at the Megie Funeral Home in Mt. Orab. Interment followed at the Williamsburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
