The Bethel-Tate Local School District is hoping that voters will support a 1 percent earned income tax issue that will appear on the Nov. 4 ballot.
Bethel-Tate Issue 22 will be a continuing operational school levy that will tax 1 percent on the earned income of individuals who live in the school district starting on Jan. 1, 2009.
Scott Hobart is the campaign spokesperson for the Bethel planning commission known as the “Investing in Excellence” committee.
