Senior Services breaks ground for new housing

If you have occasion to drive down Summerside Road off old Old State Rt. 74 in Union Township, you will see that construction is underway on Summerside Woods, the latest senior housing facility to be developed by Clermont Senior Services. Groundbreaking for the facility was held on Oct. 1. When completed in the fall of 2009 Summerside Woods will provide 45 units of affordable housing for moderate to low income seniors age 62 and over in the Union Township Community.
Clermont Senior Services has opened five other senior housing facilities since 1998, located in Amelia, Felicity, Goshen, New Richmond, and Williamsburg. Summerside Woods will be modeled after the agency
