State Route 32 was closed for about nine hours on Sunday night after a woman was killed in a serious car accident.
The Union Township Police Department is reporting that at approximately 1:51 a.m. Sept. 21, Batavia resident Alexandria Dierker, 19, was ejected from a 2004 Mercury sport utility vehicle after colliding with a fuel tanker truck at the intersection of Ohio State Route 32 and Old State Route 74, near the borders of Union and Batavia townships.
According to Union Township police department lieutenant Scott Gaviglia, Dierker, who was not buckled up in the right rear side of the vehicle, was ejected completely out of the car.
