The Clermont County Office of Public Information has won six national awards of excellence from the National Association of County Information Officers.

County Communications Director Kathy Lehr and her two-member staff, Jeff Pulliam and Rebecca Kimble, received recognition for the NACIO national distinction by the county commissioners Aug. 12.

“I am so proud of my staff and I appreciate the support of the Board of Clermont County commissioners, and county administrator Dave Spinney,” Lehr said.

The county OPI, which operates the county government television station and produces many county publications, received awards for news releases, audio visual productions, including Choices, a video that encourages teens to make the right choices in their lives, photographs taken at Clermont County parks, the Clermont County Today news magazine, hosted by Kathy Lehr, the monthly citizen’s newsletter called On The Move, and the monthly county employee newsletter.
