New Richmond is gearing up for this year’s RiverDays on the Ohio River.
The village’s annual riverfront and beach festival, which will take place this weekend, Aug. 15-17, will offer fun and entertaining activities for the thousands of people who line the Ohio River every year to enjoy the traditional event.
In addition to the scheduled live musical entertainment to be held at the grandstand every day of the three-day event, the daily attractions will include a gambling tent, beer booths, amusement rides and various games, many food and beverage booths, a corn hole tournament, mini-tractor pulls, arts and crafts, fireworks, zoo animal rides, and the always popular and entertaining Cardboard Boat Race Regatta.
The 16th annual Cardboard Boat Race Regatta, which attracted thousands of people to last year’s RiverDays, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday.
