Union Township police have apprehended a man believed to have robbed two banks.

Pierce Township resident Michael Thomas Miller, 25, was taken into custody July 29 by Union Township detectives after being spotted walking across a bridge leading into Kentucky.

Union Township detective Scott Blankenship said that Miller was identified as a suspect following the examination of surveillance videos from two local recent bank robberies.

On July 22, Miller allegedly robbed the Fifth Third Bank inside the Cherry Grove Kroger store; then on July 28, Miller is suspected of robbing the PNC Bank located at 681 Ohio Pike.
