The Second Annual Zach Strief Dream Big Foundation Football Camp will take place once again at Milford High School.

The camp, called a Pro Skill Camp, is for youth going into grades seven-12, and will be June 27 & 28, 9 a. m.-3 p. m., each day. For youth going into grades two-six, the camp will be June 29 & 30, 10 a. m.-3 p. m., each day.

The camp for the older youth will be coached exclusively by players of the National Football League NFL). All campers will receive one-on-one attention from the professionals. The campers will also be given motivational and informational talks by current and retired NFL players.

The younger future grid stars will receive coaching from the same staff as their elders. This staff is almost entirely composed of NFL players who will be on hand the first day. The professionals will be assisted by the current Milford senior high and junior high football coaching staffs on the second day of the camp.

The Milford High School football coaching staff has been hard at work to include all coaches of the Milford system into their plans for development and success. Here, varsity assistant coach Craig Rieck shows defensive strategies to the coaches of Milford Youth Football. Pat Fagan, Milford varsity head coach, described this gathering as a big success.
The second day for the younger campers will be focused to exposing them to the coaching they will receive in the future if they are Milford students. This will also expose the campers to different skill sets and expertise.

Other daily activities will include stretching and warm up and group and individual position technique at the proper level. The junior high/senior high group will include Razzle Dazzle with awards for the most valuable player and the winning team. The elementary group will receive exposure to all positions to help each individual develop a more complete understanding of the game.

There will be a mid day break for lunch both days and water and Gatorade will be provided throughout the day.

The NFL players will be available to sign autographs at the end of each day of camp.

"The biggest thing for us this year is it should be an even better camp than last year. We are working hard on improvement," said Strief, the 6-foot, 7-inch, 349-pound offensive tackle who will be beginning his third season with the New Orleans Saints. He is a graduate of Milford High School and Northwestern University of the Big Ten.

"This year there will be more professional guys and more position coaches. We want to continue working on our relationships with the community and the Dream Big Foundation."
